Meetings:  Fridays -7:30 am

Location: Gym

Hoover staff and students will have the opportunity to participate in a morning activity that promotes wellness and physical activity.  The exercise area will be available for students to exercise as well as learn the proper use of the fitness equipment.  Strategies and modifications will be discussed and developed to promote overall health and wellness.  The five components of fitness are flexibility, cardiovascular strength, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, and muscular endurance will be addressed each week. The acronym FITT will also be a staple of the program (F - Frequency; I - Intensity; T - Time; T - Type).
