At ESS, we know that providing education and support for parents can make a significant difference in our work with our students. In addition to individual family therapy sessions, we offer a monthly Parent Education and Support Program. Each month, we will cover an important topic related to parenting of students with the kinds of challenges that we see in ESS. Our goal is to help you better understand your child’s struggles and provide ideas you might find helpful as well as provide you with an opportunity to talk with other parents in a similar situation.

We will begin each session at 6:00 pm in-person in The Cafeteria at Herbert Hoover Middle School. During our first meeting we will discuss what topics are important to you and create a curriculum surrounding those issues. We know that your participation is critical to your child’s success in our program and we strongly urge you to join us.
